Subcommittee 2 on Cast Steel of National Technical Committee 54 on Foundry of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC54/SC2) convened a Chinese standard audit meeting in Hang Zhou city, Zhejiang Province, on June 13, 2024, including Code for representing cast iron.

The standard, Code for representing cast iron, is drafted by Shenyang Research Institute of Foundry Co., Ltd. CAM. and CRRC Qishuyan Institute Co., Ltd. .

The enquiry draft (DIS in ISO) was under heightened scrutiny from committees present at the audit meeting, a consensus was reached on the technical contents within the document during this session.

At the end of this meeting, all of the votes cast by the committees of the subcommittee are in favour, none of the votes cast are negtive. The enquiry draft is approved.
